The world of Japanese robots, also known as mecha and seen in countless anime and manga from the 1970s to today, was born from the creativity of Kiyoshi Nagai, probably better known as Go Nagai, one of the most famous mangaka of all time.
The mecha genre was born with the creation of the Mazinger Z series, one of Go Nagai's first works, which was followed by a multitude of other manga and anime inspired by it, which still enjoy great success among fans today.

Soul of Chogokin, translated into our language as Soul of Superalloy, is the name that Bandai has given to the line of collectibles dedicated to Japanese robots taken from many different series, and which sees as the first figure of the series the GX-01 from Mazinger Z, from which it draws inspiration.
This name derives from the manga of the same name, as Go Nagai defines with the term Chogokin the imaginary metal with which the protagonist robot was built, and which also inspires many other different collectible series, just like the one from Bandai.
